What you are going to do

The Marketing department in Goch is led by the Global Director Marketing, Innovation & Technology and consists of two  Global Category Managers, two Product Group Managers, one Product Manager Innovation, one Customer Experience Manager, a Communication & Events Manager, and a Digital Marketing Specialist.

We are on behalf of DFE Pharma currently looking for a Global Category Manager for the excipient solutions for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) forms (e.g. tablets, capsules) due to the promotion of the current Global Category Manager to Japan.

By working in tribes, DFE strives to optimize interaction with the key accounts in order to maximize value for their clients and sustaining DFE’s growth strategy. The OSD Tribe consists of sales, supply chain, finance, QA and marketing leads.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Setting the global strategy for the next 3-5 years for the product category, and making sure that it is realized, by e.g.:
    • Principal of innovation projects
    • Initiate promotional activities
    • Signal the need for future capacity extensions
  • Category performance management:
    • Execute performance analyses, challenge margin realization, value price setting
  • Market intelligence:
    • Actively gather, analyze, and interpret market and competitor information for strategic decision making
  • Marketing content development:
    • Develop marketing content and tools in close collaboration with Technology & Innovation, Sales, and Customer Experience teams
  • Managing 2 Product Group Managers
  • Key member of 1 of the 3 business tribes that is responsible for the business performance of your category.

Education and experience

  • Master level;
  • Fluent in English;
  • A minimum of 10-12 years working experience of which 5 years BtB marketing experience;
  • A background in management consulting is preferred;
  • Project management skills.
