“As Channel Marketing Manager you are responsible for the implementation of the locally agreed marketing budget for trade and channel marketing. You will build relationships with the top 20 accounts to implement the right marketing strategy with the top accounts, and the right investment level with a good eye on ROI. Your mission is to inspire (new) accounts about the Sennheiser brand and to keep partners involved with new product launches.
The Channel Marketing role has a large trade marketing component, you will work together with account management to help our team achieve our objectives. You are the marketing specialist in our team who should be able to get experienced buyers, partners and resellers aboard our regional marketing plans.
You will work closely with Valentine on building local marketing plans and creating a strong foundation for our continuous growth. But as Valentine works out of our French office, you will work very independently and connect via phone."

What you are going to do

In your first year as a Channel Marketing Manager, your goal is to ensure brand awareness of Sennheiser among distributors. You also give a boost to new marketing activities and ensure that (trade) marketing is in order, and we are set up with the most important partners in the market. When this is achieved, the focus will be on creating growth with the partners, focusing on boosting our market presence, and creating joint trade campaigns targeting the Benelux market as well as tradeshows and digital campaigns.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or Advertising;
  • Minimum 3 years channel and/or trade marketing experience;
  • Experience with marketing projects within a B2B-environment;
  • Experience in managing partners/resellers and lead generation through the channel;
  • Experience managing a marketing budget and worked with marketing programs and organizing events;
  • A-brand/ industry experience is a plus;
  • Experience with SalesForce and marketing automation knowledge is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English;
  • Flexibility: being able to adapt to changes and being able to adjust one's own behavioural style in order to achieve a goal;
  • Independence: take actions that are based more on personal conviction than on a desire to please someone else;
  •  Working together: being a team player.
