Senior Key Account Manager Dairy

Climate Neutral Group

about the role

René Toet, Managing Director

“On a glacier in Patagonia, I was confronted with our influence on the climate. I realized that with my experience at Unilever and my own kids brand Fred & Ed, I wanted to make a broader, social impact. I have now been working at Climate Neutral Group for almost 13 years. We were already at the start of climate neutral entrepreneurship when everyone was still saying that it would be okay with CO2 emissions. We are now the specialist in this field, we have a unique proposition, an appropriate DNA and a lot of knowledge.

In the voluntary compensation market, we offer insights into direct emissions, but also indirect emissions. For example, what is the footprint of a bunch of bananas before it reaches a retailer in the DC? Where does it start and where does it end? These are important discussions for us. We are internationally oriented, much more than other European organizations because our home market is smaller. In 5 years' time we will certainly be a well-known EU certification logo in 4 countries. Thé climate neutral quality mark in Europe that is stated on products. We are also the most advanced in this. Our quality mark is the driver for enormous growth, a super accelerator."
