Learn how to get the most out of an interview with C-level candidates
Selecting candidates for the key positions within an organization is no easy task. For C-level positions, just going through a list of questions is not enough. Even if you have the help of a good headhunter, you yourself will also want to get the most out of the interview. You want to ensure that you form a good picture of the candidate’s experience and relevant skills. In addition, you want to be sure that you connect with the right candidate and say the right things to them regarding the move to the position that you have open.
We have developed an executive interview training programme for going into more depth when interviewing C-level candidates. We generally provide this training on a group basis. This interactive training consists of individual intake, a workshop of two half-day sessions and two hours of personal interview coaching.
During the first session, we set to work with the method that we developed ourselves for interviewing C-level candidates. This method is a quick and easy way to obtain information about the big-picture objectives that the candidate has achieved and their underlying behaviour.
During the second session, we go into more depth with interviewing for leadership and interpersonal skills. Our many years of experience show that getting people to talk about their knowledge and skills is usually no problem. But how do you find out whether this candidate is really a good leader?
After a brief explanation of the theory, the focus of the training lies on exercises where you will immediately put what you learn into practice. The exercises will give you what you need to apply the theory directly after completing training.
